Long-time rivals Viktor “Isildur1” Blom and Ben “Ben86” Tollerene got reacquainted in an extended high-stakes PLO heads-up match on PokerStars last night.
Blom and Tollerene waged war in $200/$400 PLO heads-up for over an hour before Isildur1 walked away a $214k winner.
From there Blom transitioned to a $100/$200 PLO table with the likes of Phil Ivey, Jeans89, fjutekk and WRUUUUM where he picked up another $197k, according to highstakesDB.
Isildur1 Remains Biggest Winner in 2015
In years past there’s a good chance Isildur1 would have already gone on a massive downswing and lost the majority of his profits but he’s been surprisingly consistent this year.
Blom is still by far the biggest winner in 2015 with over $3.2 million in earnings on PokerStars.
Unidentified pro bbvisbadforme is the next biggest winner with $965k. Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen is third with $833k.
Kyllonen actually added to his overall winnings last night by pulling down $179k in that aforementioned PLO game with Isildur1 and Phil Ivey.
No one is really sure where Ben86 stands this year since the American opted out of having his results tracked but last night certainly didn’t help things.
Of course Ben86 did win the recent WCOOP $50k High Roller for $616k.
At this point there’s a good chance if Isildur1 stopped playing completely he would still be the biggest winner on the year.
